This vineyard is the result of a brilliant intuition and of the strong willpower shown by the Spagnolli family, which for three generations has been committed to the heroic cultivation of the vineyards on the steep slopes of Cimone.
Il risultato di una storia lunga ed avvincente, iniziata con l’intuizione di Francesco Spagnolli e Gino Veronelli, capaci di comprendere la vocazione spumantistica di quel piccolo frammento di terra ripida, dopo averlo osservato insieme, di ritorno da una diretta radiofonica a cui parteciparono nell’ormai lontano 1978.

After Gino called it “the little Epernay of Trentino", Professor Spagnolli decided to buy those inaccessible lands and started his experimentations, in which Giuseppe’s ancient farming skills merged with the encyclopaedic knowledge of his son Francesco, a scientist, populariser and pioneer of the Classic Method.

THE QUEST FOR BALANCE
“A unique idea expressed by an infinite diversity”: this is the chef de cave’s goal. Soils, rocks, climatic conditions and all the other elements have to be wisely orchestrated, to define the personality of the wine and express the values of the territory it belongs to. The orchestra represents the domain of the infinite and the universal, in which the individual contribution of each and every element - brought to its highest degree of perfection - can reveal itself and grow.
