Director of the prestigious Agricultural Institute of San Michele all'Adige for almost twenty years, he has blended technique and craftsmanship in the world of wine, a pioneer of the Trentino Classic Method technique, he has contributed to educating many of the most successful local oenologists.

Father and mentor of Alvise, he was the one who created the heroic vineyard on the steep slopes of Covelo.
